"The staff was downright disrespectful. We went to the dining area, and at first, they told us to sit at a specific table. Then, while we were still in the middle of our meal, they came over and rudely told us to get up and move — without any explanation, and in a very unprofessional tone. The breakfast was a joke. "Room was small but good location"

"Everything was excellent but the location was the best part. Close enough to train station making it easy to get to hotel on first day with luggage (10 min walk). It is in front of the canal with water bus stop to St Marcos and to Murano in less than 2 min walk. It is far from main streets which helped for quiet good night sleep (went to bed 9pm due to time change). Staff was very friendly and helpful.. like everyone of them. Breakfast was not excellent but good enough (I had better ones in other 4 star hotels around Europe). There are two elevators which made it easy to go up and down. Overall, this is a hotel I would recommend to anyone who is looking for similar needs."

"The breakfast was ample and amazing. Service with all professionals was great. One younger person was rude and short on room phone when I asked one question about operating air conditioning, but I just went silent after the curt answer so it wouldn't matter who hung up on who. The world today. Anyway, setting up shuttles and other communication through Hotels.com was easy and prompt. Clear communication. Italy countryside was relaxing after vigorous vacay."
