Very well located, this is a magical, welcoming spot in the middle of the south-western island. The facilities are excellent and the manager (Anias, spelling?) was particularly engaging and accommodating towards us. Situated 18km outside Selfoss, this place is sufficiently close to civilization but well located to create the effect of being in the countryside. Although self-catering, the rooms are warm and clean, and its even possible to book houses with personal hot-spots! The cottages were...

The room was pristine, area is quiet and isolated. Great value for a spacious room. Only issue were the gnats, which can be a problem all over Iceland, just need bug spray outside.

My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. The hotel provides FREE milk, juice, and cereal for your stay. Oh, and tons of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for FREE! The staff was very friendly. We also hired a sitter through them for an adult visit to the Blue Lagoon. The sitter showed up 30 minutes early to meet our son and review things. She was...

Had an amazing experience. The apartment is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and goes above and beyond. Love this play so much that I almost dont want to share how good it is in fear that prices will go up for next time I come to Iceland!

It’s s very good place to stay

I traveled with my husband and 1 year old. This was a very clean place with a lot of space. We loved being able to do some grocery shopping to eat at our place at the end of the day. Great base - we explored Reykjavik, Snaefellsness peninsula from here. Wish I would have stayed here my first night as a base to explore the Golden Circle as well.

The room was clean. Staff were nice! Kitchen was very useful. And it's very close to the shops in the city

Great place to stay with awesome proximity to downtown. Be careful, there are two Oddson Hotels in town, trust the address.

We had 2 stays at Rey Apartments. The first time we had room 105. Perfect. Ask for this room again. We flew to Greenland and then returned to Rey for our second stay. Rey is in a perfect location near restaurants, bus stops, shops and more. Great staff. Johanna, Alejandro and Marco were all wonderful and helpful. They are there during the day and just a push of a button at night. The kitchen is a must in Iceland as it is expensive to eat all meals out. Rey has it all. I would not stay...

I booked our property on a whim and found out it was ON rainbow Row! How cool! It was so convenient. The view of the cathedral was epic. We were so tired, but sleeping was difficult because the foyer light never went off, we could never find the switch. And, the noise from the road and people coming out of the bars went on until 5:30 am😳

The Swan House has accommodating staff and a modern style for any type of trip to Iceland. You will not be disappointed booking here. Anything in town is just a few streets away and very close to a bus stop which you will typically use for airport pick up and drop off, as well as pick up for any excursions.

The apartment has some great highlights, but instructions on parking process needs improvement. On the positive side, check in process is a breeze and the location is excellent with a supermarket just a two-minute walk away. On their website, the instructions for operating the appliances and equipment are incredibly clear and helpful. However, navigating the parking situation was highly frustrating. The instructions provided were very confusing, and the communication regarding this issue...

We (my husband, teenager and I) recently spent 4 nights at the Ice Apartments. The apartments are brand new and really nicely done, very comfortable for our family of 3. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with pots, pans etc - there was even coffee ready for us to brew! Bathroom was spacious and beautiful. The location was perfect - right off the main shopping street but since it was set back, it was quiet at night. There was a parking garage nearby so we did not have to worry about Finsi f...

Extremely clean and had all facilities that you need. The hosts were very communicative and responded promptly. Area is very convenient within easy walking distance to places of interests. The kitchen was well stocked. Very convenient for a family of 4 with 2 tteens. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit.

Excellent and outstanding location to all the cafes, restaurants, supermarket and stores. Easy to get around. Alva Apartments was a spacious room with a huge bathroom and super clean. The bed and comforter were extremely comfortable.

I booked this room for two, during a 24-hour layover in Iceland, and it was perfect. The room itself is very clean, modern and a pleasure to stay in. Getting to the hotel: Two bus stops are close by, Stop 11 is closer, both are very short walks even with luggage. Which is very helpful if you're going to Iceland in the winter time. Check-in: I'm not a huge fan of these self-check ins and this one was no exception. The process is always so clunky, especially if you're been flying for over...

Clean and close to downtown. Coffee and chocolates in the room. Bed was not the most comfortable but a great place and easy check in

This hotel location is very ideal for your restaurants/shopping/finding parking/evening/morning walk, etc.

Our apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. Two things that make these apartments great are location and laundry facilities.
