Good location, nice apartment

Nice peaceful setting with a couple of local kookaburras that visited morning and night. We were very comfortable. You will get fit climbing stairs as a bonus.

Very spacious living and located in centre .

Enjoyed stay .Would love to visit for new year . Request if bike and car hire options are made available at the reception. Also tailored short day city tour options made available. To enhance on pool jacuzzi and sauna facilities as they were moderately performing at the time of use.

Pretty good

Pools and views awesome. A bit of a workout walking up and down entrance hill. Shops, cafes and beaches within walking distance and of great variety. OK for kids, just an effort if no car

Great hotel for families

Such a great location. 5 minutes walk to a very quiet and clean beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. With the voice of three pools, everyone is catered for and the pools aren't crowded.

Nice two bed apartment close to beach

The location of the apartment was disappointing, being located right next to reception - with your view being the reception area. I would have happily paid more if I had known this was the room I was booking, and I can't help but feel that it was on listed at a special price because of its location. However, the apartment was well presented and maintained, very clean and the bed linen was beautiful. Another disappointment was the air conditioning. There was no built in system, but rather a portable unit. It was located at one end of the apartment, so its ability to cool the whole large living area was limited. But most annoying about this was the loud noise the unit made. It was located right beside the lounge in the TV area so it was a strain to hear the TV with this noise in your ear!

Clear tidy, great facilities. Great place to stay. Well equipped gym. Pools lovely. Unfortunately there were sunbathers with inappropriate swimmers for young children to see. I am aware this is not the resorts fault.

Great hotel with very spacious rooms.

Great hotel located really close to the beach, cafes and super markets. Apartments went plentiful in size and we'll maintained. Pools were beautiful with a fantastic infinity over looking the beach and the city. It is located a little further from the mall than ones wife appreciated.

Great place & great people

Great place & great people! We loved to stay at Magic Mountain Resort. We will come back again for sure. Very recommended!! Great facilities and excellent customer service. Our family, kids and adults enjoy the time here. Pools, gym and apartments very clean and modern.

5 minute walk to beach, good size clean room. LOTS of stairs in complex. 3 good pools, infinity pool with amazing view.

Amazing location, incredible views.

Our stay at Magic Mountain couldn't have been more perfect - the room was super spacious and comfortable, the pools were divine, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the view from the infinity pool, breathtaking. I can't wait to stay here again!

gorgeous views

Kids love the spacious apartment, which was a welcome stay after a long 2 weeks of travellling. My daughter made friends with the neighbours children as well. They loved the hi speed wifi as well. Ground floor apartment was great.

We loved it! So much so we stayed twice!

We will be back! Definitely! And if I have my way I will find a Permanent rental up there I loved it - The reception ladies were so lovely and accommodating and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Family Winter Getaway

We arrived after hours and after a quick phone call we collected our keys and instructions for parking and locating our apartment. We were pleasantly suprised at how spacious our room was and at the number of amenities we had for a family of 6. The reception ladies were very friendly and informative when we checked in the next morning. They supplied us with lots of information and brochures for our planned activities while on holidays. When our power went out midway through our stay, the issue was resolved within minutes. Our apartment had a hinterland view of the local high school and the resort's larger pool which the kids liked watching change colours at night. The view from the rooftop pool and spa was fantastic, especially at night and the kids enjoyed exploring all three pools within the resort. The bbq's were always clean and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing, friendly and just what a busy family of six needed to escape a cold winter back in Victoria. Great value for money and we would be happy to come back again.

Ggood and clean

It was a great place with good views from balcony. The only thing I didn't like was they actually took a $200 dollar bond off my visa which should be returned by the Friday. Usually they take a copy of your visa but don't put it through unless there is a problem. but over all was a good experience

From the outside it looks great and in a good spot, but the room was filthy, dated and smelt bad.

Love the Gold Coast, great for families

Would of loved our stay at Magic Mountain much more if we were in a newly renovated apartment. I believe there are some according to other reviews for Magic Mountain. Our apartment was very tired and was not clean. The lounge was almost unsittable, it smelt (really bad) and your bottom sank into it with no back support. All the furniture needed replacing, was old and very well used. Had to wash all the cutlery before use. There was no exhaust fan in the ensuite bathroom and the grout in both bathrooms was black. We could hear footsteps all night from the apartment above walking back and forth. The linen was clean (thank goodness) however we might of well been using a pillowcase pull of cottonwool balls as a pillow. They were of no use at all. Our teenage girls loved the 3 pools and the view from the top pool was awesome over the coast. Plenty of shops close by but you would need a car as it is a steep climb up to Magic Mountain. Would I stay here again - No. But if you want to stay there ask for a newly renovated apartment. The apartment size overall was good and we did have plenty of space. Value for money - well I recon we could of done better. If you are not particularly fussy, then this is the place for you.
