Close to the beach, clean and quiet
Vista is walking distance from Good Harbor beach, you can watch gorgeous sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Hotel is clean, quiet, has simple but good breakfast. Short drive to Gloucester downtown with attractions and restaurants. Overall we had very pleasant stay.

This is the cutest property, exactly what we were wanting. Not a corporate owned facility but a place where you could feel the care that is put into the motel.

The property is lovely and well-maintained, quiet and peaceful. It’s a bit out of the way, not walkable to town or shops. Lovely views from balconies. Room was dated but clean with good amenities. The bed could be comfier - thin blanket and bedspread. The breakfast was a bit limited but good, including delicious quick breads made by the owner. The front staff are wonderful.

Our room at the Vista was large and comfortable with a fabulous view. Priscilla, in reception, was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I want to stay here again.

Would return.
So, the room was OK, dated, clean. The shower took forever to get warm. The breakfast area, pool, grounds and view were great. I would go back because you get a comfort calmness. Guests are vey friendly.

Nice stay
Great stay. Very clean. Well kept. Staff friendly and welcoming . Flat 10 min walk to good harbor beach . 15 min to the creek side walking. We will stay here again. Bed was surprisingly comfortable for motel. Pool and view was also very nice.

Well maintained property
Very well maintained property in a beautiful location with amazing views! Decor is dated but was pleasantly surprised with the condition of all aspects of the room, grounds and amenities.

We stayed in May for two nights, before the high season. The motel room was very quiet and had a clear view out to the ocean. We enjoyed eating on the room's small patio and also having breakfast on a large covered patio. Staff were helpful and friendly. I only wish the bed were firmer. Weekday rates are lower than the weekend rate.

Old motel that has been restored in excellent condition. Owners & staff were very personable & wanting to meet our needs. Highly recommend the Vista for a cozy stay in Glouster, MA. Rates were very reasonable & room was spacious.

New England Vista
The Vista was impeccably maintained, knowing that it is not a new property our expectations were exceeded. The paint everywhere was crisp, fresh and neat. Bedding was excellent. Bathroom was ceramic tile and a modern tub surround above a vintage pink tub. The breakfast was fresh and there were plenty of choices for a meal on the go. The help was engaging, friendly and accommodating in every instance. Towels were never an issue. We opted for just towel service as for a three night stay we felt no need for housekeeping beyond some fresh towels.
