Terrible hilton hotel

Absolutely terrible discusting hotel myself and my father went home after 1 hour of being there the smell of wet dogs the service the scratch mark's on the toilet door in the double bedroom room 306 was terrible we left and went home and got a full refund would not recommend this hotel i wouldnt even give it a 2 star it's that run down.

Excellent West End location, perfect for bustling Byres Road, Botanic Gardens, Glasgow University and Kelvinbridge. Enjoyed revisiting Glasgow and our student haunts but with the comfort of Hilton standards!

Clean but disappointing overall

Overall Hotel clean and acceptable but disappointing for brand. Given room next to service elevator which runs from 8am to 8pm and is really noisy. Wet room area didn’t drain properly as poorly tiled so whole bathroom under water after a shower.. This room should only be used if hotel is full and reception should explain about loud noise of service elevator which sounds like a chainsaw starting up and then like a lorry being loaded. Breakfast acceptable, but at 8.30 am hash brown and last tomato were cold, mushroom tray was empty. Chef made a nice poached egg. 3* hotel at best.

Excellent stay

Stay was excellent and staff friendly and helpful, all doing there best during this pandemic, rooms not cleaned during our stay but if you required anything staff always eager to help.

Great Location, bit disappointing

The hotel is in a great location in the west end of Glasgow, great for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was pretty small but fine for the 3 nights, we arrived in the room to a horrible smell of sick and some dried in sick on the floor outside bathroom. The staff were very apologetic and had someone clean the carpet while we were out, they gave us a couple of drink vouchers for the bar and free parking which is normally 10 pounds per day, I felt the staff dealt with this very well. The parking was a bit strange, it’s the top floor of the Waitrose supermarket, it was very busy and sometimes hard to get a space and when I couldn’t reception was very helpful In helping me get a space out front. The hotel room was very warm with no way to control the heat, just personal preference for us but don’t like room too hot, the temp in room when someone is shower is really almost unbearable even with windows open. For such an iconic Glasgow hotel I think the rooms are a bit disappointing but couldn’t fault the staff in anyway they were all very nice and very helpful

Room was disappointing with an appalling view. Chap at check in unhelpfull , large dead moth waiting to greet us when we entered the room ,,,, so much for being just cleaned,,,you certainty couldnt have missed it as it was so big ,,,
