My husband and I booked the large family room through Expedia. Two days before our stay, the hotel contacted us to inform us that there had been a flood, and unfortunately, our room was affected. They offered to move us to a smaller room with a partial refund. Given the short notice, we had no choice but to accept, even though we were disappointed to be downgraded—especially as this trip to Glasgow was for a special occasion. However, more than a week after our trip, we have still not received the promised refund. The hotel has also stopped responding to our messages and inquiries. We are extremely disappointed with this unacceptable treatment and lack of customer service.

We had a great stay. Perfect location in middle of West End of Glasgow with super restaurants etc close by. The staff were lovely. In particular,Michelle at reception was a star. We shall be back.

It was well located, local amenities good, plenty of shopping,dog friendly. Transport was great no need to use car to go to city centre as you could get sub way. There was a tripping hazard in the carpet.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. We had trouble finding parking around the hotel but they were quick to over suggestions and advice. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Would stay again!

Last minute booking and we were given a king size bed room. Adequate size, lovely comfortable bed and very clean. Bathroom was a little dated but everything you need with clean fluffy towels and good shower. Perfect location for the west end of Glasgow and perfect for a very last minute bed for the night!

Nice room, but it was at the front of the property and had a lot of road noise so asked to move to the back of the building, staff were very helpful. The only restaurant option in the hotel Was a steakhouse. Breakfast was disappointing. The choice was ok. Coffee machine very slow I was sat near to the check in desk and three staff members were chatting, laughing and getting out their phones. No plates were cleared as I went up for More food. It was better the second morning. I was unfortunate to have other guests congregating outside my door talking very loud and it went on for quite some time. They sounded older and as I was on my own didn’t want to ask them to go into their rooms to ‘chat’
