The property was very well located and was walking distance to everything. It should get higher reviews. Not fancy but everything you need. Very good value for the money.

Good Hotel
The hotel is in a good location to get to the Old Town - 8 mins, modern, nice terrace bar and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Room is quite basic but good value.

Great hotel with fabulous view of cathedral, super clean and spacious rooms. Close to historical sites and train station. 2 parking floors, conference rooms and great storage bicycle area.

Convenient location but breakfast hit and miss
Staff at reception and the terrace bar later in the evening were very friendly and helpful. We chose it because of location between train station and old town - great for both. Only downside was the indifferent staff at breakfast. A good 30mins before scheduled end of service, I pointed out that the hot buffet needed replenishing and was told it would be 5mins. Nothing arrived and breakfast concluded with no apology or comment so very disappointing and overshadowed the overall positive experience.

This hotel is very pleasant. It was difficult to stop my car and check in until I saw there is space for two cars right out front (the entrance is right on a corner, as is the space for two cars). You can park your car in the underground garage - with access direct to the elevator to the lobby and rooms - once you have checked in. The rooms are smallish, but modern and comfortable. The rooftop bar is also modern and very pleasant. I arrived very late and didn't stay long, but had a terrific walk in the morning up past the cathedral to the city walls at the top of the hill with great views over the city. Anyway, a very good hotel at a reasonable (but not cheap) price and well-located within the city centre.

Nice hotel. I would recommend to stay there. The only thing we did not like - AC does not work very well and room does not cool down even at night time. However, this limitation we had experienced in almost all hotels, where we stayed in Catalonia.

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. The common areas are updated and well air conditioned. This contrasted greatly with our room. The room was not updated and the air conditioning did not cool the room. When I mentioned the a/c in our room wasn’t working that well, I was told no one else had complained. I hope they are going to update the rooms soon to match the common areas and their advertising as a 4-star accommodation.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The breakfasts are excellent, easy walking distance to old town Girona and a very clean hotel. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with attentive staff, bright room with terrace, and good breakfast. The Terrace Bar offers tapas and drinks and has a lovely view of the city with the Pyrenees in the background, especially nice at sunset.

Very good place to stay. Well located, comfortable and safe area too. It was very close to main attractions. The only bit is that we asked for parking and they didn’t tell us it would charge 18 euros to stay for the night (we would have parked in the streets nearby). Although we only stayed for one night, we would definitely go back there.

The Ultonia is a pleasant serviceable mid range hotel. We stayed there because it was convenient to walk to the old section of Girona for sightseeing. It is also about a 10 minute walk from the train station .The room was modest but acceptable and the price was also mid range.Just not beautiful or charming.

The location is really good and the rooms are nice. This visit was different as the Catalan people were protesting . The staff at the hotel were very helpful and always showed concern for our safety . We had no issues fortunately . However our group did witness a disgraceful ambush by the Madrid Police who used batons on youngsters who were running away from whatever the Police had started in the distance . I am 63 and have never seen anything like it . I should add I guess that their orders must have been to leave any tourists alone . The weekend was mainly as usual ..... a lovely old town and very friendly people coupled with good food and wine !

Hotel was very well priced for the location and amenities. We didn't have the breakfast, it was offered at a discounted price but we went to a local cafe instead. Minutes walk from the old city, shops and places to eat. Room was very clean, bathroom was large and clean. Beds comfortable. Quiet area, but we do travel with earplugs and did use them as hotels usually have lots of people coming and going at different hours. Staff at reception were friendly and made great recommendations for seeing the old city. We used the parking under the hotel, there is parking above ground in the area, we were there for 1 night and appreciated the convenience, and price wasn't unreasonable for hotel parking. There is a terrace on the 4th floor where you can brings drinks to enjoy the outside. We would definitely stay here again.
