"Koho has the potential to be an excellent hotel, though sadly they seem distracted: they’ve opened a new spa, added rooms?! and seem more focused on all this than the guest experience. They had a photographer staying, models or even the dreaded “influencers” and it was all a bit weird. Deluxe studio was good, with a large bed and decent bathroom (didn’t like how bright the air-con dials made the room at night, mind) but it was also next to the bar, where they chop ice before 7am, sweep outside your room before 7…staff mean well, but it was a bit frustrating. They also had a bad habit of playing the music too loud: again, if more focus was on the basics, there’s a lot of potential here. Overall, I did quite enjoy staying at Koho; but was also disappointed as I hoped for more."
