"A very nice stay at Gilizen. My partner and I have been travelling for 2.5 months and this was our “luxury” stop to celebrate our engagement. The villas are well equipped with plenty of space. The pool area was also ideal for us as it got the sun for the majority of the day. Staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. The only reasons for not giving the full 5 stars are: - the pool wasn’t the cleanest. - the hotel policy when you arrive is “we clean the rooms every 3 days” but we were then asked everyday if we wanted the rooms cleaned…when we said yes I’m not sure how much cleaning they actually did. I think it was more making the bed, picking up some clothes and emptying the bins. - the breakfast was very average, whilst “free” it wasn’t luxury or 5 stars standard. They also give you a choice of coffee but regardless of what you choose, it’s the same and it’s just instant coffee with milk. I’d come back if I return to GA."
