The Chedi El Gouna

"The Chedi El Gouna is undeniably a gorgeous, spotless hotel with fantastic amenities and top-tier service on the Red Sea. However, if you are traveling to experience even a hint of authentic Egypt, this is not the place. El Gouna already feels like an insulated bubble, and The Chedi doubles down on a completely generic international aesthetic with zero local sense of place. The biggest issue is the atmosphere around the pool. When you are relaxing under the Egyptian sun, listening to an endless loop of standard American pop blasting over the sound system completely breaks the immersion. The absolute low point was having Taylor Swift played by the pool. the resort desperately needs to embrace its location. Incorporating Arabic lounge tracks, local instrumental music, or curated regional playlists would instantly restore the luxury atmosphere and give guests the cultural setting they actually came for."

"The Grand Resort Review I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Grand Resort! Everything was perfect, from the excellent services and facilities to the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere. The resort is very well maintained, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and all the facilities were great. The staff were one of the best parts of my stay — everyone was friendly, helpful, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile. Everything was well organized, and the service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed every moment and felt very comfortable and welcomed. A big thank you to the entire team at The Grand Resort for making my stay such a wonderful experience Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again"
