Propreté qui laisse à désirer, toiles d’araignée apparente, moquette degueulasse, salle bain à refaire et sale, literie pas folle… Bref, très cher pour le peu de qualité. En lisant les commentaires, j’ai vu une différence entre le première étage et le deuxième… j’étais au troisième…

Pour un séjour très agréable à Gien

Notre « suite classique » (réservée au prix d’un placard à balai dans une grande ville), est une belle et grande chambre avec vue sur la Loire, dotée d’un très grand lit confortable, d’une entrée indépendante et de deux salles de bain ! Parfaitement équipée, la chambre comporte aussi deux bureaux et un canapé, ainsi que la climatisation dont nous n’avons pas besoin en ce mois de mai plutôt frais. La décoration est classique, voire un peu vieillotte, mais c’est ce qui nous plait ! Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une salle agréable qui donne aussi sur la Loire. Il est simple, mais bon. Le pain, notamment, est excellent ! Le personnel est d’une gentillesse et d’une prévenance remarquables. Il suffit de traverser la route pour se promener agréablement le long de la Loire. Le centre-ville est accessible à pied en moins de 10 minutes. Le petit plus est la possibilité de se restaurer jusqu’à 21h30 avec des bocaux de qualité proposés à un prix raisonnable (25 € pour entrée + plat + dessert) et des vins de la région. Les seuls petits défauts de l’hôtel sont : - Eloignement de la gare de Gien (30 minutes à pied. Heureusement, les services de taxi sont disponibles et efficaces). Si on est en voiture, on peut se garer facilement juste en face de l'hôtel. - Pas d’ascenseur, alors que notre chambre est au troisième étage. Heureusement, nous n’avons des affaires que pour trois jours. - Une seule carte pour accéder à la chambre, ce qui n’est pas toujours pratique à deux.

Attention : nous avons pris 2 chambres doubles ( nous étions 4 ) et celle du 2eme étage n’avait absolument rien à voir avec la chambre du 3eme ( même prix !) Chambre du 3eme vraiment plus petite et une odeur désagréable (comme du linge qui a mal seché), moquette tachée, sdb vétuste Choisissez une chambre au 2eme, un peu plus moderne, plus grande avec des petits balcons ( même dans la grande salle de bain) et odeur de propre Je ne comprends vraiment pas qu’elles soient au même tarif Petit déjeuner à 13,50€ et taxe de séjour à 18,50€ pour 4 sur 2 nuits En fait tout ceci me semble un peu cher pour Gien ( on n’est pas dans un lieu exceptionnellement touristique non plus !)

A l’arrivée, première impression négative : parking à l’arrière et stores extérieurs donnant une impression de décrépitude. Dommage car c’est la première impression qui donne une idée de ce qui suit. Heureusement, accueil sympa. Petit déjeuner du lendemain parfait. Chambre très bien sauf douche aux joints moisis et moquette tachée. Dommage que ces points laissent un sentiment mitigé. Manque de budget pour l’entretien ???

Mauvaise expérience

Nous avions réservé et payé la veille de notre arrivée pour 2 nuits. A l'accueil, le réceptionniste nous a salué et accueilli sans même se lever, a consulté son ordinateur nous a bien indiqué que nous avions déjà réglé mais que nous devions 9 € 20 de taxes dont nous n'avons pas pu avoir d'explications sur l'origine car cette somme ne correspond pas à une taxe de séjour habituelle. Chambre correcte. Très mauvaise surprise le lendemain soir à notre retour vers 22 h .... La chambre n'avait pas été faite. Exactement comme nous l'avions laissée le matin à notre départ. Le lendemain lorsque je l'ai signalé à la réception, la personne à l'accueil m'a dit qu'elle le signalerait à la direction sans autres explications. Qu'en pensez vous ?

Point positif la localisation et la possibilité de charger les voitures électriques, bonne literie. Point négatif, pas de climatisation dans l’hôtel et la peinture des murs de la chambre s’écaille , c’est un peu vieillot . Un petit coup de rénovation ne ferait pas de mal.
