"It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. "Extremely difficult and confusing to check in and out. Lots of different codes for doors, and very confusing regarding key safe.
Little to no mention about the actual details regarding sharing a flat, other guests were extremely noisy, particularly very early in the morning
Property, not in the best of conditions, with bathroom doors, not locking, which is extremely disconcerting for a shared flat.
The facilities were not good, poor lighting, the whole place needed a lot of renovation...

We have just returned from our one night stay 19/12 -20/12 and I just really wanted to say what an amazing hotel and bar it is , we had a mix up but decided to keep the stay and upgrade so we could bring our daughter and when I called hotels.com were so helpful and sorted it straight away. Then when we arrive the lady who checked us in was wonderful, letting us know what we needed to know as well as any other information she thought would be helpful, my daughter loved the room and how much space we had it was clean and spacious once we returned from our evening meal we asked if we could borrow a game to play from the bar and they were so generous saying take whatever you’d like, so again our little one was made up. Although it was “mad Friday” the rooms had very little noise from the bar and we were in Room 1 which was basically on top of the bar !
The breakfast basket was a great touch with something for everyone in which I did not realise we got when booking so it was great to put us on till lunch.
Overall they are most definitely a 5* hotel and we are already planning on returning and will definitely be spreading the word ! "
