Good for a cheap hotel

A nice hotel, just maybe on the wrong side of town. The communal areas are a little rundown but my room was lovely, clean and fun view of the docks. Staff were very helpful, with my limited Italian and their limited English we got there in the end. There is no car parking! there are just some spaces outside on the street, These were awful upon our arrival. I never seem to empty. Overall, it was value for money.

More like an open prison than an hotel with digital locks on every internal door. Hotel shabby and drab. Booked a triple room, but given a room with just one double bed, with no furnishings other than the bed and again more like a prison cell. Couldn't get any sense out of receptionist, who had limited understanding or if English. Breakfast very basic with few edible options and no prooer orange juiice or fruit available.

The beds were really comfy and the space we had was great as we were moved from a triple room to a 3 bed apartment. This would have been magnificent except we had 2 broken fans and no aircon and so were roasting. The apartment was seemingly mid being redecorated and had lots of 'unfinished' bits, so I assume that rooms had run out. The lovely cold water dispenser, kind staff (who humoured me using google translate to help me communicate) and the great location would have more than made up for this if we hadnt been mid heatwave.

Schone kamer, basic simpel meer kan je ook niet verwachten. Alleen jammer dat de wc bril niet gemaakt werd aangegeven bij aankomst. Ontbijt ook heel basis cederkaas verpakt jam, ham en tostibrood 3 verschillende broodjes met vulling focaciabrood en koffie. 3 dagen verbleven, mooie uitvalsbasis en dicht bij de cruiseport, oversteken 5 a10 min lopen en je bent er.

O hotel é razoável. O quarto era limpo, confortável e espaçoso. A Recepção é estranha, pois funciona dentro de um restaurante. A mesma recepcionista que recebe os hóspedes atende, também, o restaurante.

Hôtel correct mais mal situé

Le personnel était aimable, les chambres sont basiques, pas très meublées mais confortables. La climatisation permet d’être vraiment à l’aise dans la chambre en été. Les prix restent un peu chers pour ce que c’est. Le gros point négatif, c’est l’emplacement : l’hôtel est assez loin du centre ville et du centre historique (à l’est), et pour y aller il faut traverser le quartier sale et mal fréquenté le soir. Je vous conseille de prendre un logement dans la partie est de Gênes, la ville est beaucoup plus belle de ce côté.
