This is an OK hotel. It is in a good working order, within a walking distance from the Geneva train station, with lots of dining options and grocery stores such as Lidl close-by. Also the stunning Lac Leman is within a walking distance - that's great.
The bed is great - I slept well, though you can hear muffled noise from rooms adjacent to yours.
There were a couple of things I found disappointing. For the price I paid (£420), this was a very basic offering. I bought the option without breakfast and arrived prepared for it. I learned from the reception lady that I had breakfast included in the stay. That was fantastic, but I would have appreciated some note before arrival about it - otherwise I wouldn't have brought my breakfasts with me.
The hotel is in need of minor repairs and is all in all quite dated.
There is no information in the room about check in/check out times, towels replacement (how to avoid the unnecessary change for the sake of planet), nor cleaning. There is a sign to put on the door that says "Please Don't / Please Do" - but it doesn't say what it applies to. Don't disturb? Don't clean? Don't...?
Lastly, the hotel has an open internet - and in the times of hackers going wild I see this as a major disappointment and oversight on the security of guests.
All in all, this is an ok hotel suitable for a couple of nights when you're in Geneva for leisure. The staff is pleasant and helpful. If you don't need much from your stay, this is a good place to stay.
