Great views of the Jet D'eau, beautiful walks, and close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, despite our relentless questions. The hotel is beautiful, but we missed not having a fitness center on site; there is one nearby that we have used, but we didn't check it out. We also didn't eat at the restaurant as we were short on time, but the afternoon tea service and breakfast looked wonderful.

Exceptional level of service at Hotel D'Angleterre. There's a reason Swiss hospitality (and specifically Geneva) hospitality has set the world standards for the last 150 years, and this hotel is amongst the leading examples of it. Very dog friendly. Phenomenal food. I didn't go into the bar but it sounded like a destination spot on a Thursday night.

This is now my go-to hotel for Geneva sur Lac Leman. I've stayed at every five-star hotel in Geneva, and the Hotel D'Angleterre is always home to me..The staff, in particular, are amazingly helpful and friendly...the amenities, quality of the hotel, rooms, and location is perfect..Incredible petite dejeuner.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel d'Angleterre Geneva. The staff were very professional, responsive and kind. They were always there to help and promptly provided whatever I needed. The scenery right outside of the hotel and the short walk to Lake Geneva makes this the ideal hotel for sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying here.

What a lovely welcome from the staff, so friendly and made the last night of our honeymoon stay very special. The room was so quiet despite being in a busy area by the lake. Would definitely return if the opportunity arises

I have stayed at this property twice and every time I am treated with excellence at every level. The staff is amazing, and always ready to go the extra distance to make our stay memorable. The property and rooms are top notch, and it’s the little extras like water and fruit in your room, to turn down service that leaves a sweet treat at your return. The property sits directly in front of the lake, and is perfectly located for shopping and relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about my stays and I will always return here for my visits.

AMAZING hotel, worth going to Geneva to experience
Hotel d'Angleterre was one of the highlights of our trip. Amazing location, absolutely gorgeous hotel, truly wonderful staff. We always stay in nice hotels, and without a doubt the Hotel d'Angleterre is one of the nicest we've stayed in. We loved it, loved everyone there, and can't wait to go back!

Hotel is dated and small. I was there for business and on Wednesday evening was asked to leave (with the person I was meeting) the only lounge area in the hotel by a very rude and abrupt individual, possibly a manager (tall and grumpy individual in a black suit) because there was a private party with no concern as to where we might go. The bar wasn’t open for another 30 mins and eventually when queried he abruptly said go to the restaurant. It was clear from him and reception that we were not wanted.This hotel might have worked in the 1950s but time to modernise the attitude. On the plus side most of the other staff were nice and the room was comfortable. I won’t be back.

Wonderful experience!
This red carnation group it’s a wonderful experience. First of all the professional staff, their education and well matters, their kindness and care are wonderful. Then the buildings the decoration, the furniture the traditional atmosphere that I really love. This is the best option for Geneva, the location and the view, unforgettable! Thank you to everyone!
