"The young man at the desk was polite and accommodating. The first room I had was infested with small bugs. I was given another room. For the money my 5 nights there was adequate."

"The staff was courteous and it was clean,, but the hotel was run down. Large chips in the furniture, chair footrest that sagged noticeably. Halls with scuff marks everywhere...ones that it was obvious that walls hadn't been painted in a while. Strange smell. I wouldn't have stayed even the one night except for I had purchased it through Hotels.com and would not have gotten a refund."

"Love the nice spacious one bedrooms. Room is complete with microwave and coffeepot. I also love the breakfast that is included. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. So convenient to the Portland Airport. We would stay here again and we would recommend to others."

"This was our third stay at the Heathman Lodge. Our first two stays were wonderful, so when in need of a hotel in the Vancouver WA area we immediately booked the Heathman. Check-In was great, they even gave us a bottle of wine! But the next day we were away from our room most of the day and returned at night. There was no maid service! All our towels were used and left on floor where we had left them, trash wasn't emptied and bed wasn't made. I tried to call to the front desk, but room phone didn't work. Went down to front desk and was told we had to request maid service. I said why weren't we informed, and desk person said they should of told us at check-in. Check-In person did give me clean towels for the room. We then put on our swim suits and went to indoor pool and found it was closed for repairs. No one mentioned that as well."

"Nice clean room and friendly staff. The property in general was clean and appeared recently updated. The breakfast options were limited and not very good. The property had too many people loitering around the parking lot area who were either high or loud. The room next to us had loud people and music playing from 430am to 6am during our checkout morning."

"The young lady working at the front desk the day we arrived and the day we departed went above and beyond. We arrived well ahead of time and asked if there were any early check ins. We had a room with 2 queen beds but she was able to find 2 double beds and honestly that was much better for my daughter and I. The hotel also has a small bar and restaurant. The service was a little slow but after a very long travel day it was nice to have dinner right there. Affordable and good food."
