"This hotel is older and in need of some updating. It is centrally located to most all of the businesses in Shipshewana. The room was okay with bathtub being a bit dirty. We did not use it. The complementary breakfast was better than we expected. Overall rating: 3 stars"

"This was our 2nd stay at Blue Gate Inn while we were attending a concert at their music venue. Blue Gate gets 5 stars and is a great place to stay. The free breakfast buffet is a plus as well as full size body wash, shampoo/conditioner and body lotion. Will be back next year!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay with shops on the property along with an Amish restaurant. The hotel is decorated like a home with charm. Check in has two jars filled with fresh cookies. The rooms are spacious and if you get a room overlooking the pond sit on your private porch watching the geese in the morning. Breakfast is hot with fresh chocolate eclairs."

"We booked an overnight stay here to attend the Shipshewana flea market the following day and our experience was wonderful. From the friendly check in agent to the very tidy room and delicious buffet breakfast, I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I would 100% stay here again without reservation because we paid a fair price and had a really nice stay. On the other hand, the flea market was a real disappointment but crossed that one off our bucket list!"
