Driveway very steep. Not sure a car would make it up. I had all wheel drive and it was somewhat of a challenge. Other than that, place was nice.

The only issue we had was the smoke alarm was chirping when we showed up and the maintenance crew couldn't come until the next morning. The ceilings are extremely high (like 16 feet) so there was nothing to do except try to tune it out. It is EXTREMELY steep to go up the driveway to park in front of the cabin. I have a 4-wheel drive truck and I'm glad I had it. I can't imagine how slippery it might be in the snow. It's a very nice cabin and it was a beautiful property.

Somewhat disappointed

This is a great area for a vacation, however there are a few things about the Blue mist. First of all the driveway is an accident waiting to happen, it is entirely too steep and should have been noted in the description. A few people in our group were afraid to attempt driving up the driveway and for good reason. The place was not spotless and the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses need to be changed out. The gas fireplace did not work. The outdoor grill was a joke, I could have handled a charcoal grill instead of gas, but his grill was so old and tiny and rusty I wouldn’t cook anything on it. You pay a good deal for the rental and you should get what you pay for.

Enjoyed all the weekend but all cabins should have fire alarm with flashing lights because of people who can’t hear. It would be great for deaf/hard of hearing, who has hearing problems :)
