「Mixed experience overall. The front desk staff was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and even allowed us to check in early, which was appreciated. Breakfast was also better than expected with waffles, fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, egg cups, coffee, and juice. The property itself does not quite match the photos online. 「Room was clean enough but it did smell like an old hotel. There were no extra blankets or pillows. Floor tile/linoleum was lifting in the room. Good enough place for a one night stay in a pinch.」

「It wasnt we were expecting, it did not match picrtures online; it was rundown and was a repurposed single wide trailer. Check in was at 4 but it was not ready til 5:30 because they were unaware we had reserved it. The lake is beautiful but for the price and the place, go down the road a few miles and stay somewhere else.」

The town of Oceanside has no cell signal, and upon arriving I needed to call to get the room info, but no cell signal. 「This is a basic motel type set up. We had our dog with us and they were very welcoming. They even supplied a doggie welcome basket of towel, large sheet, water bowl, waste bags & dog treats. This was very much appreciated! The kitchenette was a small fridge, microwave & electric kettle. Coffee & good quality teabags were provided. Water was available only from the bathroom sink. Curiously, there was were only 2 ceramic cups & 2 water glasses…no plates or cutlery. We did get a few paper plates...

「The room was amazing. Mattie was so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was good except potatoes were cold. Overall we would stay again. Quiet and large room.」

「Oceanside is a true throwback coastal town, where one room post office has waterfront view, and houses on stilts climb up the hillsides.
