Impressively rude staff. The room was rundown and the bathroom window was covered over in cardboard. I wouldn’t consider it worth booking if the rate is over $20 a day. On the bright side wifi worked fine.
I have been to many hotels in CA, this is one of my favorites. Family run business, the dad turned me away for early check in, and the kids forced him to check me in early :) so cute. I will definitely go back. They also have amazing internet, quite rare.
By far the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Words cannot explain how dirty this place was. I had to make them change out the sheets and comforter. The chairs in the rooms were caked with who knows what. Everything in there was extremely damp and dank.
The floor in the room was very dirty. The hot water took a long time to warm up. It was nice to have a microwave inside the room. No iron was available. Very noisy and inconsiderate neighbors but it’s expected with how inexpensive the place was. Best part was the location which couldn’t be beat. Would consider staying here again for the cheap price.
The website said nothing about the deposit being cash they refused to take a result card or debit card I day outside until my friend could bring.me money then they put me in a room with clean towels and the bed was unmade
The place is filthy and not safe. No hot water in a shower. Super dirty, dirt marks everywhere on blankets. Towers are dirty. Next door neighbors smoke and very loud. Employee is rude and not helpful
The front desk(all staff/family) were extremely rude and price gouged us to the point where we ended up paying $30 dollars more than what was needed. They accused me and my mom of hiding someone in the residence and told me that my own mother wasn't my mother. They've called us liars and cheats when we tried to book the room online. Needless to say. They will most likely screw you over.
The the bats the bed sheets were extremely dirty it was disgusting I all in the afternoon I had to go and knock on the door of the neighbor that was the guest that was next to my room because they were just Extremely Loud 2 hours later I went to knock on the door on the person to my left hand side which was 15 because there was I thought that it will there was a violent company conversation between him and his wife at night I contacted the police because I wasn't getting any sleep and there seem to be someone being abused next to me which was the reason why I contacted the local authorities overall it was a horrible horrible experience
Staff was extremely rude, because I requested something in writing in regards to a $20 cash deposit for a key to the room. They were trying to cancel my reservation because I requested a receipt for the cash deposit. They finally gave in, cause younger daughter had already charged my card. Also, the room was supposed to be 2 queen size beds, it had queen and one child size bed, the sink leaked all over the floor, the shower water kept switching drastically between hot and cold. I have never been treated woth such disrespect at a hotel. I have photos and a small voice recording of the final couple moments of interaction regarding the deposit, where noticed I started recording and calmed down. To maintain the sites reputation, I recommend removing this motel from your platform.
I stayed a single night here overnight while my roommate had a New Year's Eve party at our apartment, since I had to get up very early the next morning for work. My needs were very minimal -- I just needed a cheap, private place to sleep and to take a shower. And yet, even so, I was disappointed by this. As soon as I arrived, the staff demanded a $20 safety deposit in cash, despite the fact that I had paid the full amount for the room online. When I expressed surprise about this, especially about the fact that it *had* to be in cash for whatever reason, the staff reacted rather rudely, bluntly pointing me to an ATM they had set up in the parking lot, which forced me to pay an additional $3 fee just to use it. The room itself was serviceable, though I did take note of what looked like nail polish stains on the table and words written in similarly colored nail polish around the TV. The bed, however, was an absolute brick -- impossibly hard and uncomfortable to sleep on -- and the frame made a very loud, warped, echoing BANG every time you sat down or got up on it. I could also hear the bed in the next room doing the same thing sometimes, because of how thin the walls were. All of the windows had been left open when I arrived, so I noticed one (caged with fence, fortunately) had no screen at all. The (very slippery) shower floor had only three strips of non-slip tape to keep me from slipping and falling. Overall, a pretty poor experience. I advise you skip this motel.
The worst hotel I have ever experienced in my life so far. I booked it because of how cheap it was. This is the true definition of “you get what you pay for”. Let’s start with service. The man at the front desk has no people skills and definitely does not make you feel welcome. This man gives you the vibes of “I got better things to do, hurry up and pay me”. Another thing that I found extremely odd is that they want a $20 cash only deposit. Nowhere on site do they have signs that inform you of cash only. As a matter of fact, they have signs that show how they proudly accept all type of credit cards. Instead, this man grunted that I go to the ATM across the check-in office which charges a $3 and some change fee for withdrawing cash.
Now let’s talk about the rooms. TERRIBLE. It’s obvious that whoever is in charge of cleaning these rooms does not care about their job. When I got to my room there was still some trash from the previous person using the room. Trash was under the bed so whoever was cleaning didn’t bother to check under. AC unit is not as cold because even when you choose to option to keep the fan on, it shuts off randomly for a couple minutes and then turns on again. Covers for bed had holes which looks to be from cigarette burns but who knows. Bed and pillows are the most uncomfortable I have ever dealt with. I actually woke up with a crick in my neck that lasted for days. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for the other hotel. I’m doing You a favor.
From this getting this room you could tell already what you got into. The room were so small and horrible the bed were hard as a rock and small / queen / single bed unbelivable place. Its not worth book or stay they the customer service suck and was horrible rude and to top it off offened the customer about smoking and was rude about it. Do not Book this place And if this gets deleted i will keep reposting here and anywhere else about this hotel
I was looking for a low cost bed for the night before picking up my wife and daughter from the San Pedro Cruise terminal. La Casa met my needs on all accounts.
