Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating, the property is clean and the grounds are well kept. There are a few things that need attention, but nothing a good handyman can’t fix. I prefer this hotel b. The wi-if is free, the staff are so nice, and the hotel is very quiet. It is located at the perfect end of town, across the street from the best restaurant in Garberville, the greatest thrift store, and the only real grocery store in town.
Quiet motel with a grocery store and excellent restaurant within a minute of walking.
Rooms are a good value, staff was awesome and made me feel at home
Affordable, clean rooms. Good wifi, staff is very friendly. Owner is very kind and attentive.

Disliked: Amenities
This motel is just typical of its kind. Older, 1960's property in a small rural town. Not much as far as amenities go, not even the usual in-room coffee maker. No staff other than the one in reception. The room was clean, everything worked as it should and the bedding was comfortable, it looked fairly new. Good value if the rate were 65 per nite, not at close to 100!

Staff/owner was great when we had a problem with the credit card system.
Owner/manager is very friendly; he recommended Benbow Inn for dinner, which was very pleasant. Room was a good size. Easy on/off Hwy 101. OK for a one night stay while traveling. Check for shampoo in your room.
The property was very clean but very outdated. However, I would stay there again.

Super cute old hotel
Probably built in the 1950's and shows. We stayed in room 4 which i think is the best room as it's kind of private. No coffee or shampoo but it was clean and neat. Owner was super helpful and kind. We stayed 2 nights and it was plenty comfortable. For the price, it was excellent. We would totally stay here again.
We just stayed for the night. The gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and helpful when it came to places to eat. The mexican restaurant next door is expensive, paid $200 for 5 people. It's not in a bad area at all. The only thing we didn't enjoy were the beds. It's like we were sleeping on boards.
Staff was very friendly and provided much information on local places to dine and engage in. Room and bathroom were very clean. King bed was very comfortable. I will rent a room at Lone Pine Motel again.
The owner is a lovely person and does what he can for his guests in a hotel that has clearly had a strange room layout since before he became the owner.

It was warm, cozy. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower head was to low.
The reception was amazing! He upgraded us to a comfortable, clean King size bed room with a new mattress at the back of the property. It was perfect. We really slept well on the new mattress- and it was quiet! Lived this cute motel and the price was very reasonable❤️
