We arrived late at night and had not received entry instructions from Expedia, but the property has staff on call. Despite being 11pm they answered our call and walked us through. The staff is truly attentive and ready to provide great service. The room is small and very basic but very clean and we knew what we were booking. Also to note ... it is an old building and whoever renovate it did an amazing job at keeping the old original architectural elements. Truly BRAVO! Great price for the room. Great breakfast available upon request.

Expensive but lovely

The hotel was lovely, from the pictures, I did think it was on the water, unfortunately it was accross the road. Over all I found it expensive, 10frs a night for parking, a coffee 4 frs, breakfast 20frspp and the local tax of 3.80 pp all adds up. Thats another 60frs on top of the price of the hotel per night!! We chose not to have breakfast so didnt see the host until we checked out whete I was presented with a full bill after already paying on line. Over all its a lovely hotel, very clean, lovely comfortable beds just very over priced.

L’hôtel est situé juste à côté du lac Maggiore. Notre chambre « panoramique » était belle et spacieuse. Ce qui est dommage, c’est qu’à plusieurs moments dans la journée il n’y a pas de réception dans cet hôtel. Nous sommes arrivés vers 14 heure et il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir et il fallait que nous appelions un numero pour savoir comment accéder à nos chambres. Le petit déjeuner, on ne peut le prendre que si on le commande la veille, ce qui est peut-être normal pour une chambre d’hôtes, mais pas pour un hôtel. De plus, l’hôtel Hotel ne dispose pas de fer à repasser.

Lille hotel Efter nogen udfordringer ved check - fik vi hurtigt en god løsning. Hotellet har kun 4 værelser men ok størrelse Området er der ikke det vilde men lige over vejen ligger en lille sti - Hvor man kan komme ned til søen og der kan man bade - vild dejlig sø og vandet er super dejligt . Der er mulighed for parkering og ikke langt ind til en smuk by Hvor der er mange restauranter

Sensationelles Hotel am Lago Maggiore

Das Boutique Hotel Villa Sarnia war sensationell. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir waren in der Rosa Suite mit voller Seesicht. Das Zimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem grossen Bett und Stil Möbel. Das Bad wurde zwar nachträglich eingebaut, ist aber recht geräumig und funktionell. Es steht eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine zur Verfügung. Die Dame am Check-out war super freundlich und gab uns viele gute Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants. Der Check-in ist via Schlüsseltresor und verlief problemlos. Als Kritik würde ich anfügen dass wir für drei gebucht haben (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind (7 Jh.)). Unmittelbar nach Buchungsbestätigung (für 3!) erhielten wir einen Anruf vom Hotel, dass kein Beistellbett möglich sei in dem Zimmer da es nicht genug Platz habe. Es wurde uns ein zusätzliches Zimmer angeboten (Aufpreis Fr. 185) für unser Kind. Unsere Tochter hat dann bei uns im Bett geschlafen. Im Zimmerpreis ist kein Kaffee inbegriffen. Jede Kapsel kostet Fr. 4. Das ist etwas teuer. Trotzdem würden wir das Hotel Villa Sarnia wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Geräumige Zimmer, Bad eher klein aber vollends ausreichend und sogar mit Zahnbürsten/Pasta. Frühstücksbuffet mit viel Auswahl und mit Liebe gemacht. In meinen Augen ein Boutiquehotel das mehr als 3 Sterne verdient :-)
