"The exterior of the hotel is fantastic. The carpeting throughout the hotel is old and dingy. The windows do not open in the rooms and with allergies, It was really difficult to sleep in the room. Nice quiet setting, but definitely due for updating."

"The hotel was being refurbished while we were there so there was ongoing construction around us. However, overall it was not an issue. It is a very good facility and it only needs some new carpeting and such to show it off. The staff was attentive and assisted us throughout our stay."

"Understanding the seasonal demand and associated high pricing, it was disappointing to see that the room was poorly maintained. There was chipped paint hanging from the ceiling above the shower and mold at the base of the bed. If you're going to charge premium pricing during peak season the Hotel Saratoga should also focus on general maintenance."
