Lovely hotel with great facilities and amenities, however scoring it 4/5 for our evening meal in Pier 56.
We ordered the haddock in tempura batter …the description sounded appealing, we were on waterfront so expected fresh fish, but it was block cut from the freezer, batter thick and greasy when it should’ve been light and crispy, so this was a bit disappointing.
Staff were great, especially in the breakfast room. The lads all turned out smartly with shirt, tie, apron, and matching haircuts ….and the girls, with their hair tied back. All helpful and friendly.
Took bus up to Galway, Eyre Square and walked down through Latin Quarter and had a great time. Terrific atmosphere here.
Would stay here again
