I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we checked in, the condition of the room was unacceptable. There was an overwhelming smell of mildew and mold that made the environment extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy. The odor was especially strong in the closet area, to the point where we could not even place our clothes inside.
When we brought this issue to the attention of the staff, we were offered another room directly next to the original one. Unfortunately, the new room had the exact same unpleasant smell, as if it were lingering throughout that section of the hotel. This did nothing to resolve the issue.
In addition to the foul odor, the amenities and service were subpar. There was only one small trash can in the bathroom, and no other place to dispose of trash in the room. We were told housekeeping only comes every three days, which is completely inadequate given the limited options for trash disposal.
When we asked to speak with a manager, we were informed that no manager was available. We were essentially told our only options were to either stay and deal with the conditions or find another hotel—last minute—at a significantly higher cost. No effort was made to provide a refund, discount, or any kind of accommodation for the poor experience.
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve encountered. I expected basic standards of cleanliness and service, and
