I frequently travel staying in different types of properties. My experience at this hotel was abhorrent. The one person on duty was cleaning pool area. She did not acknowledge me but looked at me when I entered and watched my husband walk in roughly 5 minutes later. Once the pool area was cleaned (approximately 10 minutes later)the representative came in, she asked if we wanted to check in. I requested a top floor room. The representative advise rooms cannot be changed as all rooms are assigned by the manager changes cannot be made. I make this request reduce noises that cannot be avoided in hotels. As it was, my neighbors above me were very heavy footed and had to wait until they settled down to sleep. Please note the entire check in process I was treated with contempt. Once check in was complete we were provided one key and advised it is mandatory to return the key to front desk at check out. This confused the morning representative who did manage to clean and accommodate me in timely fashion. Once in the room black mold in the tub, curtain had blood or ketchup on it, rocks in the bed and dirty carpets.
I was checking in approximately 5pm on a Friday. The room was disgusting with an strong smell of disinfectant spray, not cleaner and I was treated with discrimination. Please note, I'm the customer that just never returns when bad service is provided. I feel very strongly about my negative experience that I'm writing two days later.
