"The location of the Vila is spectacular. The surrounding hills sprinkled with well groomed vineyards are breathtaking. If one pays attention can observe Roe deer and red foxes running around. The rooms are tastefully furnished and clean. Unfortunately the term "Villa" is deceiving as the rooms have no connection to the living area or the kitchen. To access those areas you have to use outdoor stairs. The layout is closer to a motel with separate entrance to rooms. As for a winter destination it...

"The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an elevator so you must be able to carry your suitcase up three flights of stairs."

"Clean bright room, comfortable bed and decent for the price as you have access to the swimming pool and breakfast in the Mercure that is attached. Only negative is that the air con was broken in the room so it was quite hot in the room and we needed to keep the window open to cool down."
