「The room was dirty. I had roaches crawling on the floor, no shower soap, a hole In the bathroom wall, poor TV channel access, no one answered the front desk after I tried to call them on three different occasions. I had to leave early in the morning to attend a conference, and when I came back and asked for a refund, they told me they would have done it but it was after 12pm and their system did not connect with Expedia’s. 「This was a wonderful experience. The host family was charming, considerate, and very accommodating. The pictured stairway is the entrance to the host's single family home. The host family lives upstairs over the one bedroom, one bathroom, work from home (wfh) studio apartment, which is on the ground floor. Everything was clean. The "kitchen" has a small (dorm size) refrigerator/freezer, sink, griddle, microwave, a coffeepot, some cabinet storage and a counter area. Folgers coffee, coffee...
