When we drove up there was a crowd of people hanging out in the parking lot with car doors open and people milling about. It looked very unsafe. We went to a different hotel. We cancelled the reservation, which had been made only an hour earlier, and though Expedia tried to get us a refund, the hotel refused to give us a refund. Will never book at Americas Best again!

MAKE SURE YOU READ SOME REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING IN HOTELS IF SENSITIVE TO SMOKE. The guy who checked me in was nice, it was strange almost like he was living in the lobby illegally with his dog (not certain). From the exterior it looked ok, I reserved a non smoking room and first room I walked in smelt so bad of smoke it made my skin crawl. Second “non smoking” room smelt like vomit or someone died in there. It was dark outside and I couldn’t stay there I was so grossed out i didn’t make it past the front door of each “non smoking” room. Expedia was able to cancel when you call and speak to an agent but it’s a process and online it might say you can’t cancel but you can for reasons like this

Quick Stay

Great for a night or two if passing through this town. Everything is close by. Lady at front had everything ready for us. The neighborhood isn’t the best but room was good.

One night stay

Stayed one night on our way to Southern Florida. Hotel was clean (looked like a fairly recent remodel). Bed was comfortable, room was big, bathroom shower was great. This was a budget hotel and for the money it was great. Very friendly and polite clerk checked us in.

Parking was bit congested although there were sufficient spaces they were a tight and somewhat away from the room. Overall a good value for the price and check in and out was simple. Near gas and food.

False advertisement

we never stayed. There were drugs being dealt right out front of one of the rooms there were prostitutes, and it was dirty smelled of marijuana felt very unsafe.
