The property is a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Funchal, in the Santo Antonio area. We really liked this as it felt like being in a very normal suburban area, even if this area did bring the world Ronaldo! If you are looking to incorporate a visit to his childhood club or the small pitch where his house once stood, then you could barely be better situated. There's an excellent mini market just down the street and the bus service makes getting in and out of town cheap and easy. The property itself has lots of outside seating and a fantastic swimming pool. The kitchen is really well equipped - it had everything we needed. The bed was great, shower was excellent and our children shared the sofa bed - no complaints from them. Overall, this was a perfect place for us.

A bit out of the way from Funchal center amenities. Property itself was gated, safe and has a nice pool area. The unit was unclean and when we arrived we found the linens had not been cleaned. They had been used and were stained yellow and had blood on them. I informed them and they came and changed them the following morning.

Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help.

Unsere Unterkunft war einfach hervorragend! Die Küche war außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – perfekt zum Kochen und Backen, mit allem, was man sich wünschen kann, und noch mehr. Das Ambiente war wunderschön, mit einem tollen Pool und Sonnenschein den ganzen Tag. Der Service war ausgezeichnet: alles war bestens organisiert, und wir haben rund um die Uhr schnelle Hilfe erhalten. Ein großer Pluspunkt war der eigene, sichere Parkplatz im Innenhof. Ein kleiner Makel war das etwas feuchte Badezimmer, aber insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt absolut top. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
