We loved the very central location, spaciousness of the apartment and the helpfulness of the reception staff. There is a large shopping centre, including a supermarket and excellent restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to our friends.

Great location and excellent staff.

Very good hotel/apartment in the centre of Funchal. Within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and major sites. On site parking is available. Plenty of room in each unit with a small kitchenette. Staff were excellent. Better than most!

Nice location

Very nice hotel and great location. The staff were very nice. The only complaint was the comfort of the beds. My back and hips were in pain every night because the mattress was so hard. If they sorted out the comfort of the beds then it would be a perfect hotel.

All the preparations were perfect and very kind. It provides everything you need, and it's clean and quieter than you think. It's close to the supermarket and the shopping center is nearby. The location was good, so it was very convenient to stay. It's a highly recommended place.

What a pleasant surprise! The suit was spacious, had two balconies, within 5 - 15 minutes walking from all the great places to see and restaurants. The hotel has a garage with very reasonable parking rates.

I love the location by a beautiful park, in a walkable area. Good price for older charming hotel. to be clear I dont like many modern hotels with soulless modern decor. The lobby is staffed, chocolate shop out front attached. Lift to all floors from parking garage. Setup for an extended stay but lovely for the 1 night we stayed.

The studio was nice and spacious, well furnished, with a modern tv and impressive kitchen facilities. Location is excellent, situated in the city centre, only 2 minutes walk into a shopping centre which has many shops, a large supermarket and a food court. Several tourist sights are closeby and the old town a 5-10 minute walk away. There's a lovely park along the street. -There isn't much in the way of a communal space at the property. -It's not obvious to me what exactly the cafe attached sells during the day, aside from chocolates and ice-cream which are promoted on the front door. Do they have a food, snacks and drinks menu? I may have visited it outside of breakfast hours if so. -The english breakfast buffet could do with better ingredients for the sausage and bacon, and the plates were too small.

It was a very nice appartment, large with airco and a small balcony. Very close to the center of Funchal but quiet. There was a parking garage under the building you have to reserve upfront. Nice staff as well.

We had a nice couple of days here.

The room is a bit tired. But everything worked ok. Good shower, a/c etc. The front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful. The best thing about this Hotel is its position. Perfect for getting about Funchal.

The Good: staff who arranged all excursions, luggage storage, directions, the location ( close to all attractions, restaurants, markets, malls , etc) hot breakfast buffet with eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon and baked beans- not just a continental breakfast, clean, full well stocked kitchen, great water pressure. The Bad: needs an update- floor boards completely warped from water damage, beds are not comfortable ( super hard and led to back pains for both of us), clean 1980s kitchen with white melamine cabinetry on one side and 1970s brown panelling and curtains with orange borders on the other side, if someone uses up the hot water in your room you have to wait for quite a while before hot water comes out again.
