Good value ryokan

"Hotel is about 15 minutes from train station. Check in was straight forward. Price included kaiseki dinner in dining area which features sukiyaki, tempura, sashimi and assorted appetizers. Self serve rice and miso soup. Buffwt breakfast was also included and was very good. Hotel has a public bath. ..."

"This Ryokan was amazing! It was doable on the trains though it i out of the way of major cities but that is the point. Very relaxing and the osen was amazing. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a traditional experience. Also the food was fantastic!!"

"Staff were great, especially Yoko as she spoke English and was able to help with requests. One source of stress was having to pay in cash if you elect to pay at the accommodation. This should be made clear when booking. We would have happily paid by credit card in advance had it been made clear. ..."
