The friendly staff checked us in quickly and on our arrival to our room we fond a bottle of Cava and chocolates! This is my second stay (I had to bring my wife to take in the beachfront atmosphere and great location for exploring the shops, bars and restaurants along the beach walkway). We even walked to the castle! Thanks to all the staff at Occidental Fuengirola!

Nice hotel.on the beach, rooms lovely big comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast good but dinner (buffet) average, not a great of choice, would have preferred to go B&B as lots of great restaurants nearby.

There was a stupidly designed shower head that couldn't be tilted downwards, and there was a hand shower that washed the entire bathroom and the opposite wall. There was no overhead shower. How can a business make such a simple mistake? I don't know if anyone would notice. It's really strange.

This is a fantastic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from the get go. It is in a very good location, with only a 10-15 min walk into the heart of the town. I loved the cleanliness and feel of the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, in both terms of choice and quality. Great proximity to the beach also and makes a good choice for both couples and families alike.

Nice Hotel

Breakfast was really good. Staff was amazing. Pool area was really nice Food was nice. Clean and fresch faciltys. We had our room facing the afternoon sun, so it was really hot in the room. And central AC was ok warm. Buffet opens 19.00 and was not the best for familys traveling. Overall we are very happy with the stay and recomend it.

This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar. The sun lounges are comfortable and they provide towels. The occidental is in a great location. We got the train from Malaga airport to Fuengirola and then walked with our cases to the hotel which was about 10 to 15 minutes away. There is plenty to do within walking distance of this hotel.
