Great place to stay to access Sequoia NP

This was a really good spot to stay to access Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks. This place is really well managed, clean and well maintained.

Conveniently located near Sierra parks and in the middle of our Palm Springs to S.F. drive. Room was newly remodeled and immaculate. Breakfast was minimal: packaged muffins and breakfast pastries, dry cereal and instant oatmeal and bread for toast with margarine and jam packets. It's on the river and has a pool, but a mid-December chilly visit wasn't the time to enjoy them. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the price is right. Rooms facing the main highway can be noisy but double pane windows and air conditioner minimize it.

Excellent value. Negative reviews here are expecting the Hyatt for trailer park prices. The place is clean, the people are very friendly. Yes it's older property but clean and the price is very reasonable. If you are reading this, you were attracted by the price in the first place.

Pleasantly surprised.

Much better than expected! Check in clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and smelled good when we walked in. Nice quiet location near the river. My only con was the bed was a little firm for my liking. Would certainly stay here again.
