The place is lovely nestled in a mountain Valley. Very close to the main road. There are lovely, hiking trails nearby and has good access to Lourds. 「Our stay was fabulous from driving up to the chateau, the views that we were greeted with blew us away. Fantastic hospitality from our host was second to none. Beautiful clean room. The evening meal and breakfast all homemade were outstanding. We highly recommend this beautiful chateau to anyone visiting the area. 「This is a great hotel/ town to get a taste of the French Riviera. We used it as a base to go into Collioure. The pool and pool bar was solid. The views were great. The nearby town is solid. And Collioure is only a 10 min taxi away. The hotel is probably nicer than any hotel in Collioure that we saw. 」

「Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. 」
