My overall impression was spoiled by the check-in process. We waited in line for over 30 minutes while the extremely slow staff handled a few people in front of us.

It was nice to be tucked in right behind the main building. They have both walk up rooms and hotel style. Very quaint, cute place. Well kept!

Our room smelled of MOLD. We inquired at check in. Staff indicated, never had that problem. Moved us to another location. The neighbor said the same, their room smelled of MOLD. Mold is detrimental to people's health. And bleach only makes it grow.

We love Jacob’s Lake. It is a main stop for us when traveling from Ut to Flagstaff. But, this was our 1st time staying over night at the lodge. The staff was kind, and the area clean. But when we checked in they gave us the wrong keys! We went into what we thought was our room and someone else’s stuff was already in there. We quickly went back to the front desk and they fixed the problem. Overall it was a pleasant, peaceful stay. And we will be back in the future!

Everyone was very nice, the room was nice and the beds were comfy, but the shower had absolutely NO water pressure at all. Thank goodness I didn’t need to wash my hair, there was not enough water coming out to do that. Other than the water pressure everything was great!!!
