It was hot in the room, and it smelled a bit when we first arrived. There was no lock on the toiletdoor, as well as it was impossible to put the toiletlid up in over 90 degreed, so we had to hold it up when peeing. And if we sat ob the toilet, the lid was resting on our backs… the staff was pleasant tho!

Location is great. Staff is friendly. Rooms are small but OK for one or two people to stay. The hotel is just one block behind Zeil, the main shopping street of the city which makes it very convenient. Recommended.

Positive stay at Scala

The staff was friendly efficient and very accommodating . Communicating with staff was easy as they were very comfortable in English German and at least one other language I overheard Staff also made good suggestions for food and things to do
