Stay at this hotel. Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service. The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme. The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour. Our room had the most complete sea vista, was incredibly clean with a very comfy bed and was very well stocked with tea and Nespresso coffee. In contrast to other large hotels locally the Harbour provided for a quiet, relaxing stay and a memorable visit to Fowey. Thank you to all at the hotel.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff are super friendly. Room was lovely. Didn’t eat at the hotel only breakfast. Shame you now have to pay for a hot breakfast so we stuck with continental which was limited but adequate. We aren’t big breakfast eaters. Complimentary gin is a lovely touch and made the most of that. This was our second stay and will be back. We love fowey

Lovely views and friendly people. Would expect a bit more from a 4-star - like air conditioning / pool / spa. I also wasn’t expecting so many dogs to be staying there - which put me off a little, but didn’t cause any real issues.

The hotel itself was lovely we had a gorgeous room and view of the harbour and a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant but we would not go back unless we could park at the property as we had to park in the town car park up two steep hills which was no fun to take our luggage to at the end. We have a large car and the roads were so narrow we didn’t want to risk driving down to the hotel again.

The staff at the Harbour Hotel could not do enough for us! So happy and helpful. Extra special thank you to Receptionist Carley for going above and beyond. The rooms are exceptional as are the grounds and Fowey is a beautiful town with amazing bars and restaurants. We can't wait to come back.

Friendly and efficient staff; good food; fine views of the Fowey estuary from the dining room and sea-view rooms and a pleasant garden area for when the sun shines. Just 5 minutes walk from the town centre and located directly on the Cornish Coast Path. Highly recommended.

Staying here was a lovely experience. Fantastic location. Great, friendly service from all staff. Enjoyable bar food. Huge choice of drinks. Wonderful continental breakfast which included fresh fruit & exotic yoghurts, continental cold meats, cheese, cereals, choice of breads & selection of pastries. Really comfortable bed & pillows in attractive bedroom with great views from those in the front of the hotel. Only disappointment was having to pay £12.50 per day for parking. We are always delighted with the friendliness of the team at the Fowey Harbour Hotel - they are great people who really care about looking after their guests. Always have time to stop and chat, and have been able to personalise our stay each time. The parking is first come first served, and we miss the refund on having to use the public parking scheme, so you need to get in there early. But the views across the Harbour and the convenience of the location to the town do make up for this. We will be back.

Stayed for two nights midweek. Our room was well furnished and very clean. Well stocked hospitality tray with an essential coffee machine and a very welcome complimentary gin on arrival. Beautiful view across the river to Polruan. Excellent continental breakfast. Having just experienced Japanese service and hospitality, we were happy to find the staff at the Harbour Hotel can match this! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
