「Loved our stay. Food was amazing but the service in the evening in the bistro was very very very slow. 30 minutes to get our first cocktail and 1 hour for our first course. Was not crowded 😳」

「Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough. The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived. 「The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!」

「Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

「This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.」

「Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.」
