Beautiful location way out of town but must have a car as cabs are unreliable and expensive. We were surprised breakfast was not offered since there is no place around to eat and nothing was provided for us in the suite, no tea, milk, coffee, rolls or even a teapot for the first morning. Very uncomfortable and worn beds. Pullout couch needs another foam on it. Communication was good with owner and responded when we contacted them

Great place to stay. Brand new lodge with everything you need to stay for a week or more. Easy drive to load of location and fortrose is very pretty in itself. I would definitely go back

Close to incredible beach and hiking trails. Cottage needed a mirror that was at a suitable height for shorter persons.

Wonderful situation, very quiet. Quite far off main road but that was a bonus. Slight issue with one of the doors but that should be soon fixed. Very helpful host, good communication throughout booking and stay. I would recommend.

Nice stay

A lovely well planned and set out cottage that, although compact, has everything you need. You really do need a car to stay here and there were no real options to walk anywhere from the property. Quite a few animals (dogs, chickens etc.) running about unchecked right outside the property and it’s also a bit of a building site with pipes sticking out the ground, bricks and loose slabs etc. so may not be ideal for everyone. As others have said the bathroom mirror is so high up on the bathroom wall it’s completely pointless to even have it. (At 5’7 I could barely even see the top of my head let alone my face.) There is a dishwasher and washing machine which is handy- dishwasher tablets were provided but no washing powder/ liquid. No views but I felt it was well priced for what it was.

5 star luxury at 3* price

This was an excellent cottage for a quiet getaway. Set in rural location ion a farm. Plenty to see and do around the area. The cottage had just been renovated and was cleaned to a very high standard All bedding and towels were 5star hotel quality. I would definitely recommend this property

Really enjoyed our few days away. Property situated outside the little village 5minutes by car. Lots of lovely walks from the villages and nice beaches to wander along. Within twenty minutes several takeaways,bakers and coffee shops. Only downside was the WiFi almost essential when travelling with kids, signal very patchy. Overall great little spot .
