The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. However, the advertised breakfast was not for country folks. Plan to eat at the many local restaurants for a good breakfast.

You get what you pay for

The hotel was promising at first. Check in was great. There was a strong, but pleasant smell in the lobby. It was hot when we were there and the A/C was perfect! Our room maintained very cold temperatures. The smell in the lobby carried throughout the hallways and became overpowering and caused a headache. The bathroom in our room was dirty. The walls were dirty, the toilet seat was dirty, the floor was dirty. It looked like every time the wall got dirty, they just slapped a new coat of paint on them. The shower rod was installed incorrectly, so you couldn't close it all the way to take a shower. There were pincher bugs in the shower and someone else's long dark hair. There were dead bugs in the hallways. The exterior doors did not lock so anyone could get in. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. The hotel is in need of major updates. There is no elevator. There is no pool as indicated on the website.

Meh

The room was clean and taken care of not too bad for as old as the place is. The staff tho, was off putting. There was no indication when I booked the room that they would require a cash deposit and also no indication there was no elevator. The front desk didn’t bother to mention either. And when I went to do laundry the man almost refused to give me any quarters, limiting me to $2 worth although I’m sure he knew it cost way more, making me have to make more trips up there and deal with the guy. The other man was nice tho. At the rate things are there are going it will be hourly before we know it. Could go on about other complaints but it’s not gonna change anything. Just be forewarned if you are looking to be comfortable and have friendly staff don’t go there.
