"My stay at this hotel in Arlington was very disappointing. First of all, the hallway and elevator had a strong, unpleasant smell the entire time we were there. The elevator itself also seemed old and a little run down.
On our last morning, the time had just changed for daylight savings, and it caused us to wake up later than expected. My daughters and I were in the room freshening up and gathering our belongings so we could leave.
While we were doing that, a hotel employee came to our door banging loudly and asked if we planned to stay another night. I told him no and explained that we were getting ready to leave. Shortly after that, the manager called the room asking the same thing and telling us it was time to get out. I explained that I had already told the employee we were on our way out and were in the middle of getting our things together.
The manager was very rude and kept saying we needed to be out by 11:45, even though we had already told them we were leaving. It felt like we were being rushed out unnecessarily, especially considering the time change that morning.
When I went downstairs to speak with the manager, I explained that I didn’t appreciate how we were being rushed and treated. Unfortunately, she still had a bad attitude and refused to return my deposit because she claimed we were late leaving the room.
To make matters worse, the hotel also advertised breakfast, but the only thing available was coffee. Overall, the customer service was poor"
