We had a terrible stay at the Stonebridge. We realized at check in that the king suite we had booked was “overbooked” and we could only get a double queen. We picked this hotel for the suite so we could put our 5 year old to bed before us. We were repeatedly offered a jacuzzi suite to make up for this, which only sleeps 2 people and wouldn’t work for us. We were unable to find a better room last minute at other hotels so we stayed.
We got into our double queen room and it was very dirty. There were stains on one of our beds, the bathroom sink didn’t drain, and the lights above our bed didn’t work. We went to the front desk and were offered another room and a $20 discount. Our new room was okay but was very old and had mold on the bathroom ceiling. Breakfast was okay, not great. The pool was nice, but not very clean. There were dead bugs in the water and on the floor. The hot tub was not open.
Upon check out, I requested a receipt and realized I had only received a $10 credit. This was eventually corrected to $20. The front desk workers were all very pleasant and apologized multiple times to us. I requested to speak to a manager 3 different times and have yet to have conversation with anyone.
