"The staff went out of their way to make sure were were comfortable after having a night of the comode running and a lumpy bed. But the next night and following nights were very comfortable."
"Love this hotel its a family business. One of the bosses ask us want we would like to for breakfast, the next morning he had bagels delivered. My son loved the pool. Everything at this hotel was wonderful. Its clean with very friendly staff. If you travel to Alabama you wont be disappointed by staying at the Western hotel. Thank You to all the staff."
"The breakfast was decent, with a lot of variety (including grits). The staff was friendly and efficient. The lobby and outside landscaping looked great, but the room itself seemed a little dirty and the furnishings seemed worn and cheap. Might stay again, but definitely not committed."
"The room was musty & mildew smelling with mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. After putting our bags in the room went to get on elevator & it wouldn’t work so we had to use the stairs. I will not be staying at a Candlewood anymore!"
