Absolutely spotless room. Looks like it was just renovated in a building that’s fine and a parking lot that could be repaved. Slept great, although could hear traffic from the nearby road, but it was not busy at night. Shower in the tub had no grab bars and the floor could be slippery if not careful. Only ours and 3 other rooms were occupied on a Saturday night in March. Desk could have been friendlier, and they did charge an extra $100 security deposit which they said would be refunded immediately if all was ok with the room. At checkout, my receipt immediately showed the refund but not yet at my bank. Would stay again pending actually getting the refund.

Old Line Motel
This is an older motel, which previously allowed smoking, it would appear. Cigarette stains are still present. Today, the owner does his best to keep it clean, however, the old carpeting and condition of the motel has taken on a chemical smell, which is objectionable to one’s sinuses. Not much can be done except to refurbish the place.

Robert, thank you for taking the time to write a review. we strive to provide a clean and comfortable stay for every guest. Your comments suggest that we missed the mark. I am particularly affected by smells and did check the room after your departure and I wasn’t able to identify any odors. Based on our notes, I did see that you requested to see your room prior to checking in, yet at no point did you mention the smell in your entire two-night stay. We would have been more than happy to provide a solution to rectify the problem. As far as the cigarette stains on our vanities and bathtubs, these were present prior to our ownership due to some previous inconsiderate guests in a majority of our rooms. This has been a priority for us to replace our vanities and bathtubs, but due to some supply chain constraints our project timeline was affected. We are preparing for a full renovation with a majority of the materials already on site. We are waiting for our new furniture to be delivered prior to starting the renovations. We hope that you would consider giving us another opportunity to impress you when your travels bring you back to the area.

I do see that our ice machine was down a day, but we were able to limp it along the following day (the second day of your stay) to make ice until we were able to replace the malfunctioning part to bring it 100%. We are a 100% Non-Smoking Property therefore odors may be caused by other guests smoking outside. I checked to ensure the assigned room did not have any odors or notes of previous complaints. I knew going in there wasn’t much around this motel in terms of restaurants and stores, and I was fine with that. I was there to spend a comfortable night, and I got that. Bed was comfortable and the TV worked, though the signal was sometimes spotty. I brought my own snacks and ate before I arrived. There is a restaurant across the highway and a convenience store up the road the other side of US21.

The people who run this property are really great. I had to change my departure date somewhat last minute, and they worked with me wonderfully to do so. The property is a bit long in the tooth...but it is very clean. It is a "motel" type property, with vehicle parking right outside your door, which can be very convenient. I was a bit light on outlets, and the internet was just OK, so it you travel with a fair amount of tech, and need to do work online, it might become a bit of an issue. No in room coffee maker, but does have a fridge and microwave. One thing that I found a bit annoying, however, is that the fridge was unplugged when I arrived, and I had items in a cooler that needed to be put in the fridge fairly quickly, and it took a fair bit of time to cool down. One other issue was that when I was gone, the cleaning staff turned off the A/C - heater unit, so I got back to a room that was uncomfortably warm after spending a day outside in the warmth. That was an unpleasant surprise. But, again, the people that worked the front office were very kind and most helpful!!!

Very clean, no-frills motor lodge in small town. Loved parking right outside my door. Felt safe in the area. Room was basic but adequate. Did not like plastic cover on mattress; I understand the rationale for it but the crinkling sound woke me frequently in the night and it made me sweat (which is unusual since I'm usually chilly.)

This property is clean and orderly in its setup and layout. Staff was very professional and courteous. Room was very clean from floor to walls. In fact it was exact to the photos in all detail. At the price point offered, this was a great purchase. Quiet and centrally located, this is the place to stay in this particular area.

Over priced
This place had a bed and a door so I guess it qualifies as a room. I paid $82 and feel like they owe me some change. This place is not a $80 hotel. More like a $40 motel, or by the hour.

It Was OK
The motel had a comfortable bed. It was clean. When we arrived the water to the toilet was turned off. When we turned it on we realized why it had been turned off ... the toilet continued to run after flushing. So we had to turn it on to use it and off to sleep. There was no hair dryer in the unit. There were cigarette burn stains on the bathroom countertop and bathtub. It was fine for an overnight stay, but it didn't live up to a superb rating in our opinion.

This is an older strip motel but is in very good shape. The Wagon Wheel restaurant across the street was good. Cash only.

Small town motel
Not a Hilton by no means, but great location to where we are at and the best restaurant right across the road! Would stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved parking right at our door which was easy bringing in everything we brought. Very clean & convenient to where we wanted to visit. Will definitely stay there again!!!
