BEWARE!! ROACHES!!!

The location is perfect. It is steps from the beach and has free parking. The property is a bit dated, but that is ok. The photos online have definitely been photoshopped. We first noticed mold in the bathroom above the tub where there had been a leak. Not so bad for an older property. Then I saw a roach. That is to be expected for an older property in FL. The dining table isn't the same as in the photo, it was quite wobbly. There was no rug under the bed or a sheet. The coffee pot had coffee in the bottom of it. There was an opened individual coffee pack in the cabinet. The towels were threadbare and there was only one role of tp for 4 nights. Started noticing more roaches as the first night went on. I found a can of roach spray under the sink, we sprayed under the bed and they went crazy. Roaches were coming out from under the bed and over the headboard. My boyfriend had one crawl over his face while in bed. I contacted we rent to see if another unit was available. They said they could have it fumigated the next day. We didn't want to stay in a freshly fumigated space. We asked for a refund for 2 nights of the 4 nights we had booked bc we were not going to stay there any longer. We were told we would have to go through hotels.com. I am still trying to get a refund for this stay. In the end, the roaches won out. We emptied out all of our suitcases at the next hotel to make sure we didn't have any hitchhikers. Could be nice, if it was given a bit more tlc.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed… we take 5-6 hotel stays per year or more for vacation and sports. We killed 4-5 different types of bugs that were everywhere from the bed, the couch, the bathroom, in the cupboard, in the closet, etc. we woke up to get a drink at 2 am and tier Ed on the light in the kitchen and bugs were crawling all over the dishes we just washed with their feces all over the clean plates. We had to buy kitchen towels. The dinning table wobbled so much you couldn’t cut your food. The bathrooms above ours had a shower leaking into the ceiling with mold and a horrible smell. Something even left a 1 inch poop on the bathroom floor. Supposed to be no smoking but people would sit right outside the door and smoke, which made our room smell. And my daughter and I got bug bites from the bed all over our feet. And the beach towels were rags not even good enough to dry off a car. It took as two hours to go through clothes and ensure no bugs. We packed up left hotel and are still trying to get full refund.
