"I stayed here to visit both Washington DC and Alexandria. I emailed the hotel well in advance and they allowed me to drop my bag off early, without charge, so I could do some sighting. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked questions. The room was nice and tidy, comfortable bed but a little bit noisey as I had a room adjacent to the main road. The shower pressure was really good. All in all a great base for what I wanted to see. Really enjoyed my stay. A big shout out to Ian...

"Clean room but small. The view was wonderful but I had to pay an $25 extra. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was bland not enough variety. Beware of this place because Parking is not included, I had to pay $25 per night. I loved that it was Pet Friendly. But I had to pay $75 extra for my pet. Would not come again. Thanks."

"Loved our stay here! Tanya was really sweet!! The breakfasts was really good! Its a old hotel but has quality for the bucks!! We stayed three nights! Our room was clean and the refrigerator and microwave was a bonus....I traveled with my son's so having a room with a door on the bathroom area was a bonus...I was able to walk out the bathroom into the mid area in privacy!! Highly recommend..Its neutral to Washington and Baltimore! The strip has everything From food to shopping plazas...Found...

"Hard to critique as they were doing renovations"

"The biggest reason we stayed here was an early flight out the next morning. The website said they had a shuttle to the airport. When we got to the property they informed us the shuttle didn't start service until later in the morning. So we had to pay for a ride. That should be on the site. We had a nice meal at the Bistro and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was noisy."
