「Golden Rock Resort is truly golden!! An absolute gem on a little known island! The property itself is gorgeous with amazing landscaping everywhere. 「The new owners are working hard to refresh this historic property. The seaside location is a gem and the staff members are friendly and attentive (special shout-out to Julia). The full breakfast is a wonderful benefit, and my mahi-mahi dinner was absolutely delicious! An added bonus is the proximity to another excellent restaurant, as well as a scuba center for those who come to Statia to dive. Thanks to Peter and Jeanette and your amazing staff!」

「When we arrived nobody was there so no check in, completely dark, we found a lodge with a key in the door so we could use it. Late at night someone arrived. He arranged a breakfast for us the next morning which was very nice. The rest of the stay was ok. 」

「Ce n’est pas un hôtel, comme indiqué sur Expédia : pas de réception, pas de piscine, mais une simple maison. La propriétaire a « manqué notre réservation » : donc logement pas préparé à notre arrivée. Puis elle parle de vérifier si nous avons réservé la formule avec petit déjeuner, alors qu’Expedia affiche que le petit déjeuner est compris… A noter aussi que la terrasse devant la maison ( côté mer) est celle du restaurant voisin.」
