The location was great, the rooms were a great size and well laid out but there were one or two issues which let it down. 1) The scheduled room clean did not take place without prompting on two separate occasions, and even then it was late. 2) There are absolutely zero options for making tea or coffee in the property; Even a communal kettle and mugs would have made a huge difference 3) We were in Room 25 and the floor creaks and squeaks to an appalling degree. Any movement, even on tip toes, can and did wake up everyone in the suite every single time, making it a very poor option for families. While point 3 (squeaky floor) may be specific to room 25, it was a big deal. It is a real shame as we would absolutely return if this issue alone was addressed. We had a great time, but it is frustrating to have these issues.

Weird check in times. Too many stairs to get to your room. Feels more like shared dorm with no sound proofing that kept you up all night. Extremely disturbing night due to activities/pub next to property. Location is good and rooms clean but dont except a well rested night.

The room was fine, the beds comfortable, and everything clean, but getting to the rooms required climbing stairs that felt like going to the fifth floor, and with our luggage, it was a real challenge. Furthermore, the hotel has no staff to help you. Despite being a palazzo, the surroundings of the rooms are a bit depressing; it feels like an abandoned place, somewhat dark, and doesn't offer any distinctive experience. The rooms are modern, but they don't offer room service every day; I had to arrange with reception to have the trash removed. The location is very good, in the center of Florence, and you can walk to almost all of the city's main attractions. There are also many very good restaurants nearby. With all these pros and cons, I'm not sure I would choose this hotel again on a next visit to Florence.

Le logement est magnifique, les peintures au plafond font rêver, la salle de bain est luxe ; meme ssi ça mérite un petit effort avec les escaliers. Beaucoup de questions pour la procédure d'arrivée et 30 euros supplémentaires pour une arrivée à 19h c'est un peu cher.

Ruime kamer met mooie badkamer. Douche werkte prima Straatlawaai moet je er in Firenze bijnemen. Zeker als je in het centrum logeert. Het enige dat wij misten was koffie of thee faciliteiten in de kamer.

Hôtel parfaitement situé, hyper proche de tout donc pas besoin de se déplacer en transport ou peu. Restaurant, glacier, lieux culturels juste à côté. La chambre était parfaite! Spacieuse, agréable et propre. Nous avons passé un super séjour.

Fantastic stat

The accommodation was really central - perfect for a short stay in Florence. It was clean, spacious and the air conditioning was handy in the summer heat. It was fine for us but other guests might like to know there are a lot of stairs to get there so not ideal for all travellers.

The property didnt have front desk service all day, but told me I could drop off my luggage when my train arrived but once I arrived they made me wait 2 hours. I was with my family we had 4 suitcases and it was very difficult. There were 8 flights of stairs to go up and our room 26 had another 2 sets of stairs. The staff didnt offer to help and made rhe experience very difficult.

The location is good—peaceful and quiet. The room was minimalist but comfortable. However, we were assigned a room on the 5th floor, and that part of the building felt dark and confusing, almost abandoned, with lots of doors and no clear sense of space. There is no lobby service, so if you don’t inform them of your arrival time in advance, you might be locked out. In our case, we experienced this issue, and when our transportation was delayed, no one answered our calls. Overall, the stay was okay, but we would not return unless management improves communication and signage.

Struttura centrale con camera ampia e soffitti decorati alti oltre 4 metri. Una mail dello staff ci avvisava di possibili rumori notturni (essendo in pieno centro), ma fortunatamente ma la nostra camera (2 stanze matrimoniali separate) si affacciava su un cortile interno e non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore. Check in in orari precisi (non essendo un albergo o b&b) ma a noi non ha creato problemi. I 70 scalini per arrivare alla camere potrebbero essere un problema per alcune persone,ma per noi non e' stato così

The property was very conveniently located, providing easy access to numerous restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The rooms were spacious; ours had a beautiful fresco painted on the ceiling, reminiscent of the many churches we visited. The air conditioning was able to run while we were not in our room, so it kept cool for our return each visit. The negative aspects of our visit were (1) we were on the 3rd floor, 71 steps to our room with no elevator, and carrying luggage for 2 weeks was quite a haul, (2) the shower was plenty large, but it would not drain well, (3) the noise from the partiers on the streets below was endless on Thursday and Friday nights. The biggest issue in the city, not related to the hotel, was being able to hail a taxi. This was nearly impossible. Be sure and figure out how you plan to get around when leaving to another destination with all your luggage. Give plenty of time to exhaust your options, including having to walk for 30-45 minutes to the train station.
