Hotel was located in a very convenient location. It is a 5-10min walk from all major attractions as well as the main train station. Lots of cafes and restaurants along the streets/alleyways. Room was comfortable and clean. Owner was also very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

The room we stayed in was huge, but it was meant for 3 anyways. Place is a bit worn as you can tell from the paints and furniture. Location is good, very walkable and close to central market, not that the food there is great but you can stop by on the way back to have a late night grab. Air con is excellent.

A lovely couple of nights stay. Lovely hotel with a safe feel. Keys are provided to lock 2 sets of doors to access the room. Room was clean and a couple of nice gestures like milk and yoghurts in the fridge and packets of brioche. A coffee machine and a kettle and pods were provided. The only downside was as we were on the groundfloor, you could hear the staff of a morning, talking to eachother and on the phone. It would wake us up when we would have prefered a lay in, due to being on holiday. I would stay here again, as the location was excelent, however i would request a room on a higher floor where it would be quieter. Overall, Thank you for a lovely stay.

Location was amazing as everything is in a walkable distance. The room had an interesting smell that was a bit unpleasant The room offered tea and coffe but our cups were not changed and left dirty eventhough the room was "cleaned" every day. The place offers a kitchen but it does not have any utensils including cutlery or washing up liquid. The satff was kind although reception is only open at certain times and you need to call thwm if you need anything

Well located. Clean. We did not sleep well in our room. Too noisy. We just went back to Florence another night elsewhere and it’s definitely way better than our experience here. It’s good for someone who enjoy no interaction, no breakfast and a clean room to sleep.

We love the very small breakfast (for free) at the room and a daily fresh bottle of water. The tourism tax has to be paid locally. No worries and no hidden tricks. It is normal to pay this here and not via Expedia oder others.

Great location and friendly staff

We had to make a last minute location change and found this lovely place through hotels.com. They were at a perfect location to the metro. Early check in makes life easier for those who want to site see. Staff was friendly, the room was clean and secure, they had a small selection available for a quick bite to eat in the morning. I would stay here again when I return to the area.

Honeymoon stay

Our stay was very good. Marco was very welcoming as we arrived and checked us in quickly, with a clear explanation of how the b&b operated. He gave us a map with great tourist recommendations and a superb restaurant which we visited for dinner, wasn't disappointed! The room size was just right and all the amenities were great. The only suggestion for improvement would be better black out curtains to keep the light out if you want a lay in. Breakfast was light and convenient in the room with packaged pastries, milk, yoghurts and spreads. Cold water in the fridge as well. These were all topped up both days. The hotel felt very secure and safe. Would visit again if in Florence.

We arrived at the hotel early and the host told us the from is available before the check-in time. Hosts are very friendly. The location is great. A little hard to find as it’s in an old apartment building, that being said it was close to everything. Train station, hop on/off bus, main market, laundry & restaurants. Awesome place next door for dinner, on the other side was the only place in Italy that we’ve seen serve American breakfast. Couple that runs it were Very Nice and they left us wonderful baskets of breakfast things each day. Cute place to eat it just a door down from room. Only thing Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wow! We went from Ravenna to Florence Italy via train and headed to our next stop, the Locanda Di Mosconi. We got off the train in Florence, used our Apple Maps for walking directions and walked approximately two blocks to the rental unit. The owners walked us through the entry process via text and as a group of two couples who reserved two rooms we were pleasantly surprised. After unlocking a security box via the text instructions we were greeted with three keys. Each key had a purpose and like the fortunes in Fort Knox, we felt completely safe and secure. The rooms were extremely pleasant and we even had a joint sitting room. Both rooms were clean, neat and the beds were wonderful. When you walk out the front door, you are in heart of central Florence without feeling overwhelmed. The restaurant next door is excellent, as well as many others in short distance. If you’re interested in the Hop Off Hop On bus tour, it’s less then a block away. The leather market is huge and is just a short walk and the amazing market that houses coffee shops, gift shops, meat markets, etc. In summary, we feel it would be hard to find a nicer place to stay and the owners were wonderful. If we or friends or family return to Florence, the Locanda Di Moroni is our preferred location.

best hotel in Florence

very good hotel with very friendly owner. Check-in before 2 o'clock was a bit of a problem as we were running out of time. Checking out before 10 o'clock was a bit of a problem. Breakfast in the room was not fresh, we went outside to eat breakfast. The room was one of the best on our trip in Italy. we would be happy to book the hotel another time.

This was our first stay in Florence and this location and property was amazing. Marco is a great, communicative host. The room itself was clean and a great fit for two people. The rooms are obviously smaller compared to American standards, so I honestly ignored most of those reviews. We were able to access all of the popular attractions in Florence by foot extremely easily, the farthest walk was ~15 mins. The train station is also very close. Absolutely recommend. Also definitely use the bidets!

I stayed one night at the lovely property while visiting my daughter who is studying in Florence. The location is ideal as it is minutes from the train station as well as to the duomo. The street is not very busy so noise at night was not a problem. Marco is an excellent communicator. We were able to stow our luggage until the room was ready. Coffee and tea in the room. The bedroom and bathroom are well appointed and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property particularly if you need to be at the train station or the airport early. Grazie Mille

The ac was not cooling the very first night, I contacted the owner around 3 am because it was so hot, I didn’t get a response, I texted again in the morning and they send the cleaning lady and she confirmed the ac was cooling. We got another room and I was grateful we could rest the next 2 nights.

Needs update key system as well as the room setup!

The hotel still have regular keys; doors r heavy n hard to operate! In the room it has a glasses that look thru the sewage which is gross n scary! I specifically not confortable with the hotel asking me to text over the passport information! There is no front desk! The location is nice! But the hotel itself isn’t nice! I won’t recommending this for anyone I know.
